Don't Call It A Comeback!

jasmineshantaillc

I have been missing in action! Life has been life-ing! I've had some high highs and some low lows but I'm officially in a place where I can get back to sharing my story. For that, I'm grateful!

While I've been away, I've had to be sure to take care of myself. I am grateful to God, my family, and my therapist for helping me figure things out. I know that in the past, mental health and therapy was a taboo subject in the black community, but I think we are now in a place where it is becoming more acceptable in society to ensure your mental health is not ignored.

Random fact: I've watched so many documentaries about the various types of religious groups and belief movements that I've found a new found love for being a Christian! I had no idea there were so many variations of religion that are practiced today or have been practiced in the past. While I encourage everyone to follow their hearts, as for me and my house, WE LOVE GOD! And there's no changing my mind about it!

As I start back sharing my life and my story, I want to be as transparent as I can. However, I will be sensitive to those who are a part of my story. I don't intend to name names because The Who is irrelevant. I want to focus on how these experiences have shaped me into the woman I am today. So lay back, kick it, and enjoy the ride!

I am hoping to start back the podcast soon! So please be sure to subscribe to receive notifications as each new episode is released! https://anchor.fm/jasmine-jones77

I've missed each of you and I'm excited as we embark and a new chapter of this journey that is Living Out Loud!
